- Theodoros Moysiadis received his B.Sc. degree in Mathematics at the School of Mathematics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2003, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in Statistical and Operational research from the same University in 2005 and 2010, respectively.
- During 2011-2014 he was appointed as a Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Cyprus, Nicosia, Cyprus.
- During 2015-2020, he has been a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Applied Biosciences (INAB), Centre of Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), Thessaloniki, Greece.
- In 2016, his scientific proposal CLLassify was successfully evaluated within the European Actions MSCA-IF-2015-EF, and he was granted an individual Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship, which successfully ended on April, 2018. The program CLLassify (cllassify.gr) was related to high-challenging, timely problems related to classification and personalized prediction in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
- During 2018-2020 he has worked as Research Coordinator in biostatistics related to molecular hematology at the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden.
- Since 2021, he coordinates as Principal Investigator a 3-year grant, titled personaCLLized (personaCLLized.com) funded by the HFRI. This grant aims to personalize the prediction of the need for treatment for the individual chronic lymphocytic leukemia patient.
- His research interests include advanced biostatistics, personalized healthcare and prediction, time series analysis, generalized linear models, (Walsh-) Fourier analysis, and mathematical modeling.
- He is an author/coauthor of more than 60 papers in the field of theoretical and applied statistics, in peer-reviewed international scientific journals. He acts as a reviewer for many international peer-reviewed journals, including (i) “Statistics & Probability Letters” - Elsevier, (ii) “TEST” - Springer, (iii) “Statistics: A Journal of Theoretical and Applied Statistics” - Taylor & Francis, (iv) “Computational Statistics & Data Analysis” - Elsevier, (v) Econometrics and Statistics - Elsevier, (vi) Statistical Modeling - SAGE Journals, (vii) Sankya A, The Indian Journal of Statistics - Springer, (viii) BMC Medical Informatics and Decision Making - Springer, and (ix) Journal of Multivariate Analysis - Elsevier.
